Artist's Comments Click here to get the line artI am SO SICK of looking at this thing. I'm probably uploading too early because of that but there comes a point when you scream NO MORE!!! This is very different from my water gods [link] . Mostly because Amaterasu is a sun goddess... so I wanted her to be the sun... not be surrounded by the sun... there is a ton of contrasts in shape, colors, etc... I really like how her skin came out. Like a constantly moving molten liquid/gas... just what I wanted. Main and tail I wanted to look like solar flares but couldn't really get it... So to the left is a planet with a bunch of moons... in the curve of her tail, two stars, and to the right a solar nebula... or something. So, I suppose she is one goddess of many considering she is just a goddess of the sun.  idk... this one will grow on me... it just the water ones didn't have such smack you in the face contrasts.Amaterasu I wanted like a giant glowing thing... like the sun... Pele I want darker... and Brigid I don't know how I am doing yet. But Amaterasu is sun/plasma; Pele is volcano/magma; Brigid will be fire... of some sort... yeah.... Enjoy!
